Paul Shapiro has worked in residential real estate since 1973. While specializing in Newport Beach, Costa Mesa, and Irvine, he maintains a strong presence in the surrounding communities of Central and South Orange County.

Paul has consistently been a top producer at Metro Realty. He specializes in single family and apartment sales. His Background as a Certified Public Accountant makes him uniquely qualified to analyze and market income properties, including tax-deferred exchanges. He has been active in the liquidation of lender and Relocation Company owner properties. Before joining Metro Realty, Paul operated an independent real estate company in Corona Del Mar, and was active in apartment and condominium development. He ha s extensive experience in property management.

Paul has been active in the real estate industry and is a member of the Orange Coast Association of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.

Born and raised in Southern California, Paul attended California State University San Jose and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance. After spending three years in the Navy, Paul spent five years working at a big six public accounting firm where he specialized in auditing and tax matters related to construction companies. It is this background that makes Paul uniquely qualified in the financial aspects of real estate transactions. Paul has been a leader in integrating the latest computer technology in his real estate marketing.

Paul has lived in Newport Beach since 1969. His extensive knowledge of the community including, schools, recreation facilities, shipping and transportation coupled with his financial background make his uniquely equipped to handle the real estate needs of his clients.
